Peters Custom Homes, Inc. builds commissioned custom homes and may coordinate with separately engaged design, technology and real estate professionals. Here is each business, what it actually does, and who you would be working with.

INTERIOR DESIGN

Emerald & Oak Design

Emerald & Oak Design offers interior design services through its own business — material selection, furnishings and interior architecture. It is not a department of Peters Custom Homes, Inc. When a homeowner engages the studio, it works under its own agreement, and we coordinate drawings and schedule so finish decisions arrive before the trades that depend on them.

HOME AUDIO, VIDEO AND TECHNOLOGY

Peters Audio Video

Peters Audio Video plans and installs home audio, video, lighting control and networking. Technology intersects with construction early: wiring, equipment rooms and speaker locations have to be decided before drywall. If a homeowner engages Peters Audio Video, that work is provided under its own agreement; homeowners may also bring their own integrator.

LUXURY SPEC HOMES

Peters Signature Homes

Peters Signature Homes builds spec homes — houses planned and started by the builder and offered for sale, rather than commissioned by a client. A spec home purchase is a different transaction from a custom home commissioned and built by Peters Custom Homes, Inc., and the two should not be treated as the same contracting company. Its website is not yet available.

REAL ESTATE REPRESENTATION

Peters & Associates, Inc.

Peters & Associates, Inc. provides real estate services under its own engagement — helping clients find land, buy or sell a home. The Peters Team website covers homes for sale across the Charlotte area. Real estate representation is a separate service from construction and is agreed directly with the brokerage.

LUXURY REAL ESTATE

Your Leader in Luxury

A second website for Peters & Associates, Inc., focused on Charlotte luxury real estate. It is the same brokerage as above, not a separate firm.

Business relationships

Peters Custom Homes, Inc. provides custom home construction services. Businesses and websites mentioned here may be separately organized and operated, even where they share owners, principals, branding, or collaborate on a project. Each business provides its own services under its own applicable agreements. A link or introduction does not make another business a party to a Peters Custom Homes, Inc. construction agreement. The provider, scope, fees, and responsibilities for any service should be confirmed in that provider's written agreement.

Peters Custom Homes, Inc. builds commissioned custom homes. The businesses on this page provide their own services under their own agreements, even where they share owners or the Peters name. Hiring Peters Custom Homes, Inc. does not automatically hire or include any of them.

Can I bring my own designer, integrator, or agent?

Yes. Peters Custom Homes coordinates schedule, access, and rough-in windows for whichever providers the homeowner retains.

Why does coordination between trades matter on an estate build?

Interior, technology, and site decisions all have construction deadlines attached to the trade that depends on them. Resolving them inside the build schedule avoids rework and change orders later.

Nicholas and Miriam Peters also keep Peters Signature, their personal travel journal, where they share travel experiences and inspiration. It is not a travel agency, does not take bookings, and is not a Peters Custom Homes service.
