Unlike production builders or volume developers, our firm operates as a boutique practice. We intentionally limit the number of homes we build each year, ensuring that every project receives the direct leadership, careful planning, and attention to detail that a significant estate demands.

Nicholas Peters serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Peters Custom Homes, Inc., where he leads the company's vision, project strategy, and client relationships.

Known for his hands-on leadership style, Nicholas remains personally involved in every stage of the building process — from early design collaboration and architectural planning through construction oversight and final delivery. His approach ensures that each home reflects the original vision established at the beginning of the project while meeting the highest standards of craftsmanship and construction quality.

Over the course of his career, Nicholas has built a reputation throughout the Charlotte region for transparency, professionalism, and the ability to guide complex, design-driven projects with confidence and precision.

Through this relationship, some projects benefit from a seamless transition from homesite identification through architectural planning and construction.

Interior design for many residences is developed in collaboration with Emerald & Oak Design Studio (opens in a new tab) , led by Miriam Peters, ensuring that each home reflects a cohesive vision from structure to interior environment.

Together, these aligned relationships allow complex residential estates to be guided from concept through completion with continuity and clarity.
