Contractor Introduction Terms & Disclosures

1. Program operator and scope

The Home Projects & Contractor Introductions program is operated by Peters Custom Homes, Inc. ("PCH"). Through it, PCH reviews requests from homeowners and, where it considers a suitable independent company may be available, helps make an initial introduction. The program is an introduction resource only.

2. Request review

Submitting a request does not guarantee a match, a response within any particular time, or that any contractor will accept the project. PCH may decline to make an introduction or may tell you that no suitable introduction is available.

3. Your choice

You are free to hire, or not hire, any company PCH introduces, and to compare proposals from any other provider.

4. Separate contractor agreements

Any site evaluation, scope of work, price, change, schedule and payment is agreed between you and the contractor you retain. PCH is not a party to that agreement.

5. PCH's limited role

Requests are received by Nicholas Peters and shared with PCH staff, who perform an administrative role: reviewing requests and helping with initial communication. PCH staff have no authority to bind you or any contractor to a construction contract, and does not sign proposals, approve change orders, collect project payments, direct crews, or certify or accept work.

6. Performance and compliance

The contractor you retain is responsible for the work it controls and for its own legal compliance, subject to your agreement and applicable law.

7. Licensing, insurance and permits

Licensing, insurance, permits and qualified-trade requirements depend on the work and the law, not on the size of the project. PCH does not verify these for you through an introduction. Please confirm them independently with the provider.

8. Warranties

Workmanship and manufacturer warranty questions should be directed to the responsible provider or manufacturer. An introduction does not create any PCH construction warranty.

9. Nature of recommendations

An introduction reflects PCH's current opinion based on information actually available to it. It is not a certification that a company is the "best" or that its work will meet any particular standard.

10. Financial and other relationships

Homeowners pay PCH nothing for an introduction. For referral-based projects, you pay the independent contractor directly for its work. Any material ownership, family or other relationship between PCH and an introduced company will be disclosed before you commit.

11. Privacy and sharing

PCH shares your contact information and project details with potential independent contractors only with the separate permission you give on the request form, and only for responding to your request. Please see our Privacy Policy for how information is handled and retained.

12. No emergency service

This program is not an emergency or dispatch service. If there is immediate danger, contact emergency services. For urgent property damage, contact an appropriate emergency-response provider directly.

13. Feedback and concerns

Disputes about a contractor's work are addressed under your agreement with that contractor. Concerns about PCH's own introduction service can be sent to PCH using the contact details below.

14. Separate from PCH construction contracts

These terms apply only to introductions. New homes and substantial renovations that PCH accepts are governed solely by a separate written agreement, and these terms do not limit PCH's obligations under such an agreement.

15. Rights preserved

Nothing in these terms eliminates any duty or liability that applicable law places on PCH for its own conduct, or limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

16. Effective date and changes

These terms are version 2026-09-27. Changes apply going forward only; where a change is material, PCH will ask for your agreement again.

Separate legal entities

Peters Custom Homes, Inc. and any separately identified service provider or affiliated business are distinct legal entities. The party named in your written agreement is the party with which you contract. A referral, shared ownership relationship, common branding element, or website link does not by itself establish that one company performs or guarantees another company's work.
