Flooring Contractor Introductions in Charlotte
Peters Custom Homes understands that updating or repairing flooring can significantly enhance your Charlotte home's comfort and value. Whether you are contemplating new hardwood, restoring existing floors, or exploring modern options like luxury vinyl plank, identifying qualified professionals is a key step.
Through our Home Projects & Contractor Introductions program, PCH offers an introduction service to independent flooring contractors. These contractors can assess your project needs and discuss available solutions for various flooring types. Please remember that PCH serves solely as an introducer; homeowners directly engage and contract with the chosen independent contractor for all work.
Peters Custom Homes, Inc. provides contractor introductions through this program. You select, contract with, and pay the independent contractor directly. PCH does not perform, supervise, manage, inspect, or warrant that contractor's work under this program. Contractor acceptance, pricing, scheduling, and availability vary.
Homeowners pay Peters Custom Homes, Inc. nothing for an introduction. For referral-based projects, you pay the independent contractor directly for its work.

Understanding Flooring Project Considerations
Undertaking a flooring project involves several important decisions, from selecting the right material to ensuring proper installation. An independent flooring contractor can assist in evaluating the current condition of your floors and subfloor, discussing material options suitable for your lifestyle, and outlining the scope of work. They can provide insights into the properties of various flooring types, such as durability, maintenance requirements, and aesthetic appeal.
Homeowners are encouraged to discuss potential concerns regarding permits, local regulations, or homeowners' association (HOA) guidelines with the independent contractor and the relevant authorities. While PCH introduces contractors, homeowners are responsible for confirming compliance with any applicable requirements for their specific project.
The PCH Introduction Process for Flooring Contractors
If you are planning a flooring project in the Charlotte area and are seeking an introduction to a qualified independent contractor, PCH can review your request. Our program is designed to connect homeowners with professionals who may be able to address their specific flooring needs. Homeowners directly engage, manage, and compensate any contractor they choose to hire following an introduction.
Please be aware that independent contractors are solely responsible for all aspects of the work they perform. PCH does not oversee, inspect, warrant, or guarantee the work of any contractor. Our role is limited to facilitating an introduction, allowing homeowners to independently contract for services such as hardwood installation, refinishing, or carpet replacement.
How the introduction works
Every request goes to Nicholas Peters, who reviews it and shares it with the appropriate member of our staff. For this program, please reach us only through the request form or by email at npeters@peterscustomhomes.com. If a suitable independent company may be available, we help make the initial connection. From there you and the contractor arrange the site visit, proposal, contract, schedule and payment directly. How contractor introductions work.

About this introduction program
The Home Projects & Contractor Introductions program is an introduction resource offered by Peters Custom Homes, Inc. For projects handled through this program, the homeowner independently selects and retains the service provider. Any estimate, scope of work, construction agreement, payment, change order, schedule, permit obligation, workmanship commitment, or warranty is between the homeowner and the retained provider, as applicable to their agreement and the law.
PCH's role is limited to reviewing introduction requests and facilitating initial connections. PCH does not undertake construction management, jobsite supervision, inspection, or certification of the referred work. An introduction does not guarantee a provider's availability, price, licensing status, insurance coverage, workmanship, conduct, financial condition, or suitability for a particular project. Homeowners should independently evaluate the provider and confirm the qualifications and coverage appropriate to the proposed scope.
A contractor's work on a separate PCH project does not make PCH a party to that contractor's agreement with you. A separate direct PCH construction engagement exists only if agreed in a separate written agreement. Nothing in this disclosure eliminates any duty or liability that applicable law places on PCH for its own conduct or limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
