Waxhaw Home Projects & Contractor Introductions

Waxhaw Home Projects & Contractor Introductions

Peters Custom Homes extends its contractor introduction service to homeowners in Waxhaw, North Carolina. We understand that homeowners often seek reliable, independent contractors for various home improvement projects, from minor updates to more extensive renovations. Our program aims to facilitate connections between Waxhaw homeowners and qualified contractors who may be able to address their specific project requirements.

Our process involves reviewing your project request and, if suitable, introducing you to a contractor from our network. It is important to note that the ultimate decision to engage a contractor, define the scope of work, and manage the project rests solely with the homeowner. PCH does not perform, manage, or guarantee any work performed by the independent contractors we may introduce.

Peters Custom Homes, Inc. provides contractor introductions through this program. You select, contract with, and pay the independent contractor directly. PCH does not perform, supervise, manage, inspect, or warrant that contractor's work under this program. Contractor acceptance, pricing, scheduling, and availability vary.

Homeowners pay Peters Custom Homes, Inc. nothing for an introduction. For referral-based projects, you pay the independent contractor directly for its work.

Considering Home Projects in Waxhaw

Waxhaw's established neighborhoods, many with mature trees and varied architectural styles, frequently present opportunities for home improvement. Whether your property is an older residence or a more recently constructed home, projects such as exterior updates, interior remodels, or landscape enhancements can contribute to its aesthetic and functional appeal. We review requests for a wide range of home project types in the Waxhaw area.

Homeowners in Waxhaw may consider various projects, including kitchen or bath remodels, additions, deck construction, window replacements, or roofing repairs. Our objective is to assist you in finding an independent contractor who can evaluate your specific project needs and discuss potential solutions.

Understanding the Introduction Process

To initiate a request for a contractor introduction for your Waxhaw home project, you will provide us with details about your proposed work. We review these requests based on factors such as project type, location, and the availability of suitable contractors in our network. If an introduction is feasible, we will connect you with a contractor who may be able to assist.

Please be aware that the independent contractors we introduce operate their own businesses. Any agreement for services, including pricing, scheduling, and project details, will be directly between you and the contractor. Peters Custom Homes' role is limited to the introduction itself; we do not engage in the project's execution or oversight.

Local Considerations for Waxhaw Homeowners

When undertaking home projects in Waxhaw, homeowners should be mindful of local regulations and requirements. Depending on the nature and scope of your project, it may necessitate permits from Union County or the Town of Waxhaw. Homeowners should confirm these requirements with the relevant local authorities before commencing work.

Additionally, properties within certain community associations or with historic overlays may have specific guidelines or review processes. We recommend that homeowners consult with their homeowners' association or the appropriate town department regarding any specific architectural review processes or covenants that may apply to their property.

About this introduction program

The Home Projects & Contractor Introductions program is an introduction resource offered by Peters Custom Homes, Inc. For projects handled through this program, the homeowner independently selects and retains the service provider. Any estimate, scope of work, construction agreement, payment, change order, schedule, permit obligation, workmanship commitment, or warranty is between the homeowner and the retained provider, as applicable to their agreement and the law.

PCH's role is limited to reviewing introduction requests and facilitating initial connections. PCH does not undertake construction management, jobsite supervision, inspection, or certification of the referred work. An introduction does not guarantee a provider's availability, price, licensing status, insurance coverage, workmanship, conduct, financial condition, or suitability for a particular project. Homeowners should independently evaluate the provider and confirm the qualifications and coverage appropriate to the proposed scope.

A contractor's work on a separate PCH project does not make PCH a party to that contractor's agreement with you. A separate direct PCH construction engagement exists only if agreed in a separate written agreement. Nothing in this disclosure eliminates any duty or liability that applicable law places on PCH for its own conduct or limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
