Myers Park Home Projects: Contractor Introductions

Peters Custom Homes, Inc. provides a service to homeowners in Myers Park and surrounding areas. We can review requests for introductions to independent contractors who may be suitable for your home project. Many properties in this established Charlotte neighborhood feature unique characteristics, and careful consideration is often given to preserving or enhancing their original charm.

Whether your project involves an exterior refresh, an interior update, or a more extensive renovation, we understand the importance of connecting with capable professionals. Our program aims to assist homeowners by facilitating introductions to independent contractors for various home improvement needs.

Peters Custom Homes, Inc. provides contractor introductions through this program. You select, contract with, and pay the independent contractor directly. PCH does not perform, supervise, manage, inspect, or warrant that contractor's work under this program. Contractor acceptance, pricing, scheduling, and availability vary.

Homeowners pay Peters Custom Homes, Inc. nothing for an introduction. For referral-based projects, you pay the independent contractor directly for its work.

Considering Your Myers Park Project

Myers Park homes often present opportunities for projects ranging from subtle enhancements to comprehensive renovations. The diverse architectural styles and mature landscapes of the area may lead homeowners to seek contractors with experience working on properties of a certain character.

When planning a project, homeowners typically consider several factors, including the scope of work, material selections, and the desired aesthetic outcome. PCH reviews requests for contractor introductions based on the details you provide about your specific project.

Navigating Design and Permitting Considerations

Many homes in Myers Park feature distinctive architectural elements and existing finishes that homeowners may wish to maintain or complement. A qualified contractor may assist with material selection and design approaches that respect the original character of your home while meeting modern standards.

For projects that involve exterior modifications, additions, or significant structural changes, homeowners and their chosen contractors should confirm any applicable requirements with the City of Charlotte and other relevant authorities. Some properties may be subject to specific historic-review regulations, and understanding these can be an important part of project planning.

How the Introduction Program Works

Peters Custom Homes maintains a network of independent contractors. When you submit a request, we review your project details and, if appropriate, can provide an introduction to a contractor who has expressed interest in similar work. We do not charge homeowners for this introduction service.

It is important to remember that the homeowner contracts directly with the chosen independent contractor. The contractor is solely responsible for the performance, management, supervision, and warranty of their work. PCH does not perform, install, repair, manage, supervise, inspect, warrant, or guarantee any work performed by any contractor.

How the introduction works

Every request goes to Nicholas Peters, who reviews it and shares it with the appropriate member of our staff. For this program, please reach us only through the request form or by email at npeters@peterscustomhomes.com. If a suitable independent company may be available, we help make the initial connection. From there you and the contractor arrange the site visit, proposal, contract, schedule and payment directly. How contractor introductions work.

About this introduction program

The Home Projects & Contractor Introductions program is an introduction resource offered by Peters Custom Homes, Inc. For projects handled through this program, the homeowner independently selects and retains the service provider. Any estimate, scope of work, construction agreement, payment, change order, schedule, permit obligation, workmanship commitment, or warranty is between the homeowner and the retained provider, as applicable to their agreement and the law.

PCH's role is limited to reviewing introduction requests and facilitating initial connections. PCH does not undertake construction management, jobsite supervision, inspection, or certification of the referred work. An introduction does not guarantee a provider's availability, price, licensing status, insurance coverage, workmanship, conduct, financial condition, or suitability for a particular project. Homeowners should independently evaluate the provider and confirm the qualifications and coverage appropriate to the proposed scope.

A contractor's work on a separate PCH project does not make PCH a party to that contractor's agreement with you. A separate direct PCH construction engagement exists only if agreed in a separate written agreement. Nothing in this disclosure eliminates any duty or liability that applicable law places on PCH for its own conduct or limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
