Matthews Home Projects – Contractor Introductions

Matthews Home Projects – Contractor Introductions

Matthews, North Carolina, with its blend of established neighborhoods and evolving communities, presents diverse opportunities for home improvement and renovation projects. Peters Custom Homes offers a service to connect homeowners in Matthews with independent contractors who may be suitable for their specific project needs.

Whether your residence features the mature trees and classic architecture of an older property, or a newer construction requiring tailored enhancements, a qualified contractor can offer insights. We review requests for contractor introductions within Matthews and surrounding areas, aiming to align your project vision with available contractor expertise.

Peters Custom Homes, Inc. provides contractor introductions through this program. You select, contract with, and pay the independent contractor directly. PCH does not perform, supervise, manage, inspect, or warrant that contractor's work under this program. Contractor acceptance, pricing, scheduling, and availability vary.

Homeowners pay Peters Custom Homes, Inc. nothing for an introduction. For referral-based projects, you pay the independent contractor directly for its work.

Navigating Home Projects in Matthews

Undertaking a home project in Matthews often involves considerations specific to the area. Many established residences may benefit from updates that respect original character while incorporating modern amenities. Other homes might require an approach focused on enhancing contemporary design or improving energy efficiency.

A contractor introduced through our program may evaluate your specific project, offering a perspective on potential approaches and the scope of work involved. We facilitate the initial introduction; the homeowner then directly engages with the contractor for project details, agreements, and compensation.

Understanding Local Requirements and Design

Matthews' architectural landscape includes a variety of styles, from traditional to more contemporary designs. When planning a project, a contractor can help consider how proposed changes might integrate with your home's existing aesthetic and the surrounding neighborhood character.

For any project, confirming local permitting, zoning, or HOA requirements with the relevant authorities is an important step. An independent contractor is responsible for their own licensing and may assist homeowners in understanding specific project requirements, ensuring adherence to local standards.

Contractor Introductions for Various Project Types

Our program aims to introduce homeowners to independent contractors equipped to handle a range of home projects. This could encompass interior renovations, such as kitchen or bathroom remodels, as well as exterior enhancements like deck additions or landscaping improvements.

The availability of a suitable contractor for an introduction depends on factors such as the project's scope, the specific trade required, the contractor's capacity, and the project's location within Matthews. We review each request individually to determine if an appropriate introduction can be made.

Initiating Your Matthews Home Project Request

To explore the possibility of a contractor introduction for your Matthews home project, we invite you to submit a request. Providing details about your property address, the nature of the project you envision, and any specific trade requirements will assist us in reviewing your request.

We consider requests from Charlotte and its surrounding communities, including Matthews. Our goal is to connect homeowners with qualified independent contractors who are familiar with executing projects within the region and who may be available to discuss your specific needs.

How the introduction works

Every request goes to Nicholas Peters, who reviews it and shares it with the appropriate member of our staff. For this program, please reach us only through the request form or by email at npeters@peterscustomhomes.com. If a suitable independent company may be available, we help make the initial connection. From there you and the contractor arrange the site visit, proposal, contract, schedule and payment directly. How contractor introductions work.

About this introduction program

The Home Projects & Contractor Introductions program is an introduction resource offered by Peters Custom Homes, Inc. For projects handled through this program, the homeowner independently selects and retains the service provider. Any estimate, scope of work, construction agreement, payment, change order, schedule, permit obligation, workmanship commitment, or warranty is between the homeowner and the retained provider, as applicable to their agreement and the law.

PCH's role is limited to reviewing introduction requests and facilitating initial connections. PCH does not undertake construction management, jobsite supervision, inspection, or certification of the referred work. An introduction does not guarantee a provider's availability, price, licensing status, insurance coverage, workmanship, conduct, financial condition, or suitability for a particular project. Homeowners should independently evaluate the provider and confirm the qualifications and coverage appropriate to the proposed scope.

A contractor's work on a separate PCH project does not make PCH a party to that contractor's agreement with you. A separate direct PCH construction engagement exists only if agreed in a separate written agreement. Nothing in this disclosure eliminates any duty or liability that applicable law places on PCH for its own conduct or limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
