Electrical & Lighting Contractor Introductions in Charlotte

Peters Custom Homes, Inc. understands that electrical and lighting enhancements are integral to both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of a residence. Whether you are considering updating existing fixtures or planning more extensive electrical upgrades, it is often beneficial to engage with qualified professionals.

Our program is designed to facilitate introductions to independent electrical and lighting contractors in the Charlotte area. These contractors may assist with a variety of projects, from minor installations to significant system improvements. We can review your request for an introduction to a contractor who may be able to address your specific electrical and lighting requirements.

Peters Custom Homes, Inc. provides contractor introductions through this program. You select, contract with, and pay the independent contractor directly. PCH does not perform, supervise, manage, inspect, or warrant that contractor's work under this program. Contractor acceptance, pricing, scheduling, and availability vary.

Homeowners pay Peters Custom Homes, Inc. nothing for an introduction. For referral-based projects, you pay the independent contractor directly for its work.

Navigating Electrical and Lighting Projects

Electrical and lighting work often involves precise technical considerations to ensure safety and compliance. When planning such projects, it can be valuable to work with an independent contractor who possesses the appropriate experience. A qualified contractor may offer insights into suitable solutions, material selection, and installation best practices for your specific home.

Peters Custom Homes, Inc. can review your request to introduce you to independent contractors who may be able to assist with projects such as fixture replacements, system upgrades, and new installations.

Considerations for Your Project

Before commencing any electrical or lighting project, it is advisable for the homeowner and the independent contractor to confirm any requirements for permits, inspections, or adherence to local codes with the relevant authorities. For projects involving changes to exterior lighting or electrical panels, homeowners may also wish to consult with their HOA or historic review board, if applicable.

An independent contractor introduced through our program can evaluate your specific needs and discuss potential solutions. The homeowner hires, contracts with, and pays the independent contractor directly for all services rendered.

How the introduction works

Every request goes to Nicholas Peters, who reviews it and shares it with the appropriate member of our staff. For this program, please reach us only through the request form or by email at npeters@peterscustomhomes.com. If a suitable independent company may be available, we help make the initial connection. From there you and the contractor arrange the site visit, proposal, contract, schedule and payment directly. How contractor introductions work.

About this introduction program

The Home Projects & Contractor Introductions program is an introduction resource offered by Peters Custom Homes, Inc. For projects handled through this program, the homeowner independently selects and retains the service provider. Any estimate, scope of work, construction agreement, payment, change order, schedule, permit obligation, workmanship commitment, or warranty is between the homeowner and the retained provider, as applicable to their agreement and the law.

PCH's role is limited to reviewing introduction requests and facilitating initial connections. PCH does not undertake construction management, jobsite supervision, inspection, or certification of the referred work. An introduction does not guarantee a provider's availability, price, licensing status, insurance coverage, workmanship, conduct, financial condition, or suitability for a particular project. Homeowners should independently evaluate the provider and confirm the qualifications and coverage appropriate to the proposed scope.

A contractor's work on a separate PCH project does not make PCH a party to that contractor's agreement with you. A separate direct PCH construction engagement exists only if agreed in a separate written agreement. Nothing in this disclosure eliminates any duty or liability that applicable law places on PCH for its own conduct or limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
